At MI Education and Training, inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do. We are passionate about creating opportunities where every individual, regardless of their background, gender, or life circumstances, can thrive in both education and the workplace.
As part of our ongoing commitment to equity, we are proud to introduce a dedicated initiative aimed at addressing the underrepresentation of women in traditionally male-dominated industries.
Our Female-Focused Session, designed and facilitated by our experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead, provides a safe, supportive, and empowering space for women in the workplace. This interactive and insightful day has been thoughtfully crafted to:
⚫ Encourage open and honest discussions about the unique challenges and advantages of being a woman in today’s workforce.
⚫ Provide a platform for sharing personal experiences and collective strategies for success.
⚫ Explore practical, actionable ways employers can better support and retain female talent, through policy, workplace culture, mentorship, and inclusive leadership practices.
This session is not just about highlighting problems; it’s about driving solutions. It invites both participants and organisations to reflect on what meaningful inclusion looks like and how we can work together to foster environments where women are not only represented but supported and celebrated.
Change begins with conversation, and conversation begins with a safe space. At MI, we’re proud to provide both.
Our Session in Action: Partnering with Holcim
We were recently proud to deliver our Female-Focused Session in collaboration with Holcim, as part of their Early Careers Talent Development programme. This impactful session brought together 14 current and former female apprentices from a wide range of sectors within the organisation, highlighting the diversity of roles and experiences women hold across Holcim.
